Project Phoenix was announced today. This is a Kickstarter campaign to develop a Japanese Role Playing Game with a Real-Time Strategy System. Bringing together great developers from East and West, Project Phoenix is the brainchild of game developer Hiroaki Yura, the founder of Creative Intelligence Arts. This new JRPG-style approach will benefit from an artistic direction by Kiyoshi Arai, which will bring his experience on Final Fantasy XII and XIV, and a musical score directed by Nobuo Uematsu, the legendary composer of the Final Fantasy series, who will work for the first time on an independent game project.

The Project Phoenix Kickstarter aims to reach $ 100,000 to fund the programming and artistic development of the game.
