Darksiders III Download Game PC For Free

After today’s leak, THQ Nordic is now officially announcing Darksiders III for 2018. Gunfire Games is currently working on the game and thus much of the team that developed the Darksiders games back then.

The hack ‘n’ slash action adventure returns to an apocalyptic earth where players take on the role of FURY. Their job is to track down and eliminate the Seven Deadly Sins. The Fiery Council requires Fury to fight his way from the heights of heaven to the depths of hell to save humanity and prove that it is the most powerful of the riders.

As a magician, FURY relies on her whip and her spells to restore the balance between good and evil. The expansive game world of Darksiders III is presented as an open, living planet earth, marked by war and decay and recaptured by nature. FURY will travel through various environments and discover secrets as the story of Darksiders III progresses.

When THQ announced the bankruptcy, the numerous trademark rights of the games were foreclosed. Among them was “Darksiders” with all logos, concepts and development plans. What the public also learned at this time: Darksiders 3 was already in work and had to be pulped again, since the money was missing and Vigil Games was even closed down.

Today we have THQ Nordic, a publisher who wants to follow in the footsteps of the former creative workshop of the AAA games industry. Of course Darksiders 3 should not be missing and with the announcement that Gunfire Games is working on the successor, the happy ending is perfect: When Vigil Games was closed, many employees came to the new studio Gunfire Games.

In a short documentation, the developers go back to the time and explain how scarce Darksiders survived as a game series and what became of the old plans of the former Darksiders 3. You can watch the video here:

Only the fact that also Darksiders 3 is more or less a prequel again and the bad Cliffhanger from the end of the first part of all probability is not further spun, currently leaves a little thoughtful back. Or does Gunfire finally bridge the story in the course of the campaign? Or is Gunfire Games taking the obvious route and letting Fury interact with Death at certain points of the story, trying in parallel to knock his brother out? We’ll see it, supposedly next year.
