Factorio Download is an independent management / strategy game for people who want to spend hours developing very sophisticated tactical schemes that will allow you to build a fully automated production plant. You play as a failed character on a planet and your main mission will be to do everything to facilitate and secure the arrival of a spacecraft to come and recover and leave this hostile environment.

Under its 2D graphics hides an extremely complete game. You will start the game with a completely empty inventory and you will have to find and collect your first resources very quickly. You will therefore go in search of a stone vein that will allow you to build an oven, the basis of all your development. With this oven you can melt iron, copper and other metals allowing you to build your first machines.

Until then the schema is very basic, but it is by seeing the search tree that the game takes all its meaning. With more than 100 searches, you will need to find / collect and manufacture different components that will allow you to develop your base. From one point to another, you will go from the small basic base to a real and huge totally automated production plant.

Water pumps, robotic arms, electronic circuit, you will have to go through different technologies to advance in your quest and it is without counting the energy management, because all these machines have a cost in energy consumption. You will have to find lakes to install pumps and hydraulic turbines to produce electricity, you can also rely on solar energy, in short the choices will be multiple and it will be necessary to pay attention to your consumption because the general breakdown n is never far away and it is the aliens who will give it to their heart’s content.

Because yes you will quickly realize that you will not be alone on this planet and that different types of aliens will want to put an end to your adventure, either by killing you or by destroying your base. Your adventure will therefore take a turn “tower defense” because you will regularly undergo assault waves of different aliens desperate to sink into your base and come pick you.

In addition to excellent replayability due mainly to the fact that you will always want to start again trying this time to better optimize your base, the game has a single player campaign that is a tutorial (very short), a level editor but also of a multiplayer. With hundreds of objects, crafts, researches, the game is very complete and will take many hours to overcome the ultimate technology. The very (too) sketchy graphics will be quickly forgotten because of a playability and a concept really taking as long as you like the “puzzles”.

Factorio is one of those unrelated and yet extremely complete independent games. Succeed in leaving the planet is a real challenge for your neurons so you will have to realize a fully automated and functional factory. Enjoying excellent replayability, you will not see the time pass as long as you stick to a graphic style unfortunately exceeded and a first grip rather delicate.
