In the past, wrestling games have been guilty of ignoring the idea of strategy or tactics. It is nice that this is not the case here.

Such supplements also bind in to certain types of match. The multi-person encounter always was messy in WWE. AI’s opponents would be far too eager to break a pin – the meaning of it would go on forever – and if you were playing with friends it seemed impossible to win. It was just too easy to interrupt what would be a winning cover. This has pretty much been removed now how both you and your opponents react to movements. They all take a physical toll on the body of your digital fighter. This is the smartest way to make the struggle feel like fighting. Personally I think what is here works and works well, but I can understand why there have been a few raised eyebrows from the lack of a Showcase mode.
